More than names and dates

A family story,
grounded in evidence.

A place of birth can open a new branch of your family tree. A handwritten signature or an old identity photograph can bring an ancestor closer.

We follow those clues through civil registers, parish books and other archival collections. You receive the records found, an explanation of what they tell us and a clear account of the research.

Before you begin

A few questions
you might have.

More questions answered
I only have a name. Can you still help?

Often, a name is a starting point rather than enough to identify the right person. Share approximate dates, relatives, places and any documents you have. We will assess whether there is a practical route forward.

Do I need to travel to Poland?

You can commission research from the UK without travelling to Poland. We agree the work remotely and explain the findings in English.

How much does research cost?

The cost depends on the question, available records and scope of the work. We provide a quote after reviewing your enquiry, so you can decide before research begins.

What if the record has not survived?

Some records are missing or inaccessible. Where appropriate, we look for alternative sources and explain what was searched, what was found and which questions remain open.

Your next chapter starts with a question
